Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): The Departmental promotion committee (DPC) of Punjab on Thursday has cleared names of 1982-batch IPS officers, Sanjiv Gupta, Sumedh Saini, Suresh Arora and Rajinder Singh for director general of police (ADGP).

Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): The Departmental promotion committee (DPC) of Punjab Police on Thursday has cleared names of 1982-batch IPS officers, Sanjiv Gupta, Sumedh Saini, Suresh Arora and Rajinder Singh for director general of police (ADGP).

 

It is to mention that above stated four IPS officers names were cleared for three vacancies of ADGP in Punjab.

Apart form this DPC has also cleared the names of 14 IPS officers, of 1991-batch for inspector general (IG), 1993-batch IPS to be promoted to deputy IG (DIG) rank. 
 
According to source
Punjab government will announces transfer list  of 60 IPS officers above the rank of SSP on Friday.
