Sukhbir Singh Badal Takes Oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab
Punjab News (Mera Chandigarh): Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal, son of Punjab Chief Minister, Shri Parkash Singh Badal has taken oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab at the Punjab Raj Bhavan on Monday.
Punjab News (Mera Chandigarh): Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal, son of Punjab Chief Minister, Shri Parkash Singh Badal has taken oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab at the Punjab Raj Bhavan on Monday.
According to sources, Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal has sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab in the presence of Punjab Governor, General (Retd.) Dr. S.F. Rodrigues, Mrs. Jean Rodrigues, Punjab Chief Minister, Shri Parkash Singh Badal his Cabinet Colleagues, wife of Chief Minister, Mrs Surinder Kaur Badal, Members of Parliament including Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Mr. Naresh Gujral, Mr. Tarlochan Singh and Mr. Navjot Sidhu, MLAs, senior leaders of different political parties including National General Secretary BJP and Incharge Punjab Affairs, Mr. Balbir Punj, BJP President, Mr. Rajinder Bhandari, Financial Commissioners and Principal Secretaries, DGP, Punjab, Sh. P.S. Gill, SGPC Members, etc.
After being sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Sukhbir Singh Badal was handed over the portfolios comprising Home Affairs (Civil Defence & Wakf), Information & Public Relations, Water Supply & Sanitation, NRI’s Affair, Sports & Youth Welfare and Non Conventional Energy by S.F. Rodrigues that to be looked by him.
