Mohali (Mera Chandigarh): Mohali Police has started the establishment of an ultra modern police control room (PCR) at the Phase VIII Police Station.

 

Mohali (Mera Chandigarh): Mohali Police has started the establishment of an ultra modern police control room (PCR) at the Phase VIII Police Station.

Information to this effect was shared by Mohali Police Official that Mohali is among six districts selected by the Punjab Police for up gradation of the PCR facility which will provide Geographical Information System and Global Positioning System technologies-based Automatic Vehicle Tracking System (AVTS) to track the PCR vans and motorcycles.

Also, Upgraded PCR would enable Digital Voice Logging System for Police to attend Calls made to Helpline.
