Chandigarh(Mera Chandigarh): for the forst time , the Lok Sabha Elections in Punjab would be held in two phases on May 7 and 13.

As per the informed sources, Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister has welcomed the Lok sabha Electon Dates for 2009 and ensured that impartial and peaceful elections will held in Punjab.The Model Code of Conduct comes into force with effect from 02.03.2009
