Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has issued notices to 230 property tax defaulters to deposit their pending tax.

Information to this effect was shared by sources in MC that Chandigarh Municipal Corporation to take Rs 63 crore from notified 230 property tax defaulters including religious places, Panjab University, schools, Haryana Roadways workshop, Neelam theatre, KC theatre, Indian oil Bhawan and many more.

Following the list of High End property tax defaulters of Chandigarh:

1.      Gurdwara Teg Bahadur Ji:Rs 7.56 lakh.

2.      Kalghidhari Niwas

3.      Siri Baba Balak Nath Mandir

4.      Sanatan Dharma Mandir

5.       Satya Narain Mandir

6.      St Thomas Christ Church.

7.      Panjab University:Rs 47.87 lakh

8.      Private schools: Rs 85.53

9.      Haryana Roadways workshop: 16.28 lakh

10.  KC theatre: Rs 5.44 lakh

11.  Neelam theatre: Rs 4.27 lakh
